Captain Jessica Kroke, owner of Helm & Heel, is a lifelong waterwoman with over 28 years of boating and fishing experience. From the freshwater lakes of Minnesota to the turquoise waters of the Florida Keys, Jessica’s passion for the water runs deep.

A U.S Coast Guard Certified Captain, Jessica brings more than 33 years of local water knowledge throughout the Anna Maria Island and Long Boat key area. She has worked on all types of vessels — from center consoles to sportfishers — and loves teaching others how to handle their boats with skill and confidence.

For the past six years, she’s also run her own successful charter business, Reel Blonde Charters, helping clients experience unforgettable days on the water. Through Helm & Heel, Jessica combines her expertise and her passion for empowering women to become capable, confident boaters.
